First i like to say thank you for bringing Backgammon to Board Arena - it's one of my favorite games.
Unfortunatly, it seems like that game was implemented by someone who has absoulty no idea of this game. I play it twice and i already hate this version

Here are the reasons:
1. When stones are on the bar, they are displayed on the same height like the stones on the board. Very confusing!
2. When I have stones on the bar and I can't move (maybe rolled 1 and 2 and both are blocked by opponent stones), I have to do a stupid klick - for absolutly no reason...
3. There is no cube implemented. 1-point-game is okay for beginners, but "normal" Backgammon player don't play without the doubling cube.
4. Often it comes to a situation in a game, when it's absoluty clear, that you can't win the game and it's also very clear, that you will loose it by gammon. Normaly, instead of stupid finish the game for nothing, the loosing player will offer then to the winning player a "give up by gammon". The winning player can then accept or decline. I see no option here...
5. The game playing direction changes randomly in every game. That's playable, but BGA is absolulty the first Online Game Platform, who is incapable to implement a standard view for each player. "Standard" means, that I'll always get the same playing direction. So if you look to the game on both players screen, both players will play in the same direction... Couldn't be so hard to implement...
Last point: IMHO, the graphics don't fit very well...
I'll check back the game in some weeks, but at the moment, it's just a NO GO...
