Me too. Not all of us can play real-time games. And since no one wants to play turn-based, games never even start and it's basically impossible to move up in rankings. I wish someone would at least come out and explain their thinking on why auto reveal wasn't used. Very frustrating. It's really a shame. I hope next season is changed back.

I can only assume the logic was that someone wanted to play with trainer cards on and was afraid that if auto reveal was on it wouldn't give people a chance to activate trainer cards between plays. But the game already knows when to pause for input on trainer card use even when auto reveal is on. And that alone slows games down a lot, but at least it would be somewhat playable since matches would finish quickly once both players' trainer cards are flipped (or are passive.)

I still think trainer cards off is probably a better call for arena but that's debatable, auto reveal on is an absolute no brainer.

Agree. At least these first seasons as people learn the cards. They change the game so much. Later, it's the kind of setting that could be on again off again with each season.

I'm playing some games, but clearly not enough to be a Guru.
I assume people play real time and become Gurus and don't understand / care about us turn-based players.

I'm so annoyed to find that Autoplay was left OFF for this Arena. Boooooo

It feels like all the people who need turn based games are being treated like second-class players. We can't get enough games going to move up in the ranks or become gurus and vote, so we're permanently relegated. I really tried to get games going in turn-based all season, and the most I could get started was 1 or 2 week, which would then take weeks to play. Try as I might, I couldn't make it out of gold league, having started in silver. This time, I'm relegated to bronze and I have little hope of making elite. *Sigh*

I honestly don't understand how this continued. Are there numbers anywhere showing that a sufficient number of games actually happened with this setting on to justify running it again?

I'm open to the possibility that I'm an outlier and that there's a large number of people who like the game this way. Is there data to back that up?
