It is possible to report colluding players because they are "Cheating the ELO system". This is a reportable offense and will be punished by the moderators if sufficiently proven.

Do not report via "Kingmaking".

That option is found under "is using multiple account to boost ELO." Which is why I asked in my first account if it was possible that it was the same person and not a "friend." Yeah, you can play the semantics game that by cooperating the winner is "using" (through collusion) multiple accounts, but we know that's not what they mean because after you click "is using multiple account to boost ELO" they ask "What is this player doing with these multiple accounts?" and they have both "the accounts play against each other to cheat the ranking system" AND "the accounts are playing as a team" as options. The first leads to a form to fill out. The second doesn't and gives the "red thumb kingmakers" message instead. So those do not mean the same thing to them. They don't want kingmaking reports. They want actual multi-accounting reports. Period.

So, yes, it is "possible" to report colluding players by pretending you suspect it's the same person.

I was able to report a player for doing this.

But I wrote a relatively extensive report with links to specific game examples and my scenario had a player doing something that could not be construed as poor play, especially since they only did it then they were opponents and did it repeatedly.

Be prepared to document and prove your allegations. Make it easy for the mods to identify what they're doing.

I had the same problem.
At the game "tarot", 2 players are ALWAYS playing in the same game, and of course they cheat. I mean, it's really obvious, they give each other their own points even when they are not in the same team and many other things. It's so huge that they can't finish most of their games because another player leaves it before the end. More than 50% of their games are left by a player before the end. And they do that in ALL their games, really all of them.
I tried to report them but couldn't for that reason, you can only put a red thumb for cheating/team play and... one of them reported me cause I insulted him :D
But after reading this topic, I reported them for being just one account, could be ok, so thanks !
