Would it be possible to give Tournament organisers the "power" to remove players from a multiple round tournament when that player signs up to a tournament that may last for a number of months, but then never joins a game, or disappears shortly after it starts. They can repeatedly hold up a really good tournament as the games don't end for days or even weeks!
This again another suggestion that has been going on for years but never implemented.
BGA - You say you want feedback? Its all here and has been for years but its repeatedly been ignored. Pay attention to what your users have been asking for for 6 years

The biggest problem with tournaments is the amount of games people forfeit by skipping people. As there is a setting for tournaments for game length where the game is automatically ended if it's not done by the start of the next round, there should not be an option to skip a player and end the game and forfeit the results. The point of joining a tournament is to play the games, and 99% of the time someone skips a person and the game ends, you just sit there and have to wait for the next round to start. It defeats the point of playing. There should be a penalty to those who skip players and end the game if the next round isn't starting.

Love the update at least from an aesthetic reason. I don't create tournaments so I can't speak to that unfortunately. I would still love the ability to filter the tournament pages to only games where I meet the ELO criteria. So many times I click into a tournament (which goes to a separate page) only to see I can't play in it. I would love to just filter those out on the tournament page itself so I don't even see them

Can someone help me with setting my profile to an overnight setting? I would join more tournaments but I always seem to end up timing out significantly faster than others. Is there a setting that pauses my clock from like midnight to 6am, is that why I end up so in the red for my clock?

I like the new aesthetics, but it seems rushed. Its a lot harder to navigate on mobile to get a view of the tournament standings. Especially since it doesn't show your standings anymore without manually counting, which is (what is assume) a key feature of any tournament screen. Nor can you see tie breaker stats. And I want to hide the suggested tournament, especially since it doesn't change with the filters applied.

When I'm checking a list, like "my tournaments", I don't want and don't need random suggestions for a tournament. It's confusing and just "in the way". At least offer an option that gets rid of suggestions completely. That'd be great.
OT: If you really want to improve BGA, add categories beyond "favorite". Ideally editable. Atm I just add all the "games I'd like to try" to my favorites, clogging up that list. It's far to big. There are just too many games on BGA for a simple single favorites listing. I'd love to have a "like to try" list separate from my favs. Or separate favorites lists, like for heavy games, fillers etc. It'd reduce scrolling significantly on mobile devices.
And, at least I don't need the cover images. A real oneliner list would improve the (mobile) usability. Like this:
- Game A [join]
- Game B [join]
...
Wasting space is a general issue of "modern" web design. Especially the so called "mobile friendly" designs. Tons of scrolling instead of user friendly access to information/content.

The size of the text seems a bit off. The titles of the tournaments are massive, while the actual relevant information (player count, date, timescale) are either hidden or very small. And on desktop, you can only see about 5 tournaments on one page, but the majority of that space is taken up by either empty space, or relatively-useless information (the custom title of the tournament).
It's honestly a bit hard to read or parse right now. It's overwhelming.

The most important issues:
1. I don't have access to private tournaments I am playing, or joined:
https://boardgamearena.com/tournament?id=506828
2. No visible tie-brakers
3. No invitations
4. Above the fold, there is plenty of useless information about settings, but it's hard to find the current results.
5. Doubled number of points (in 2p tournaments), wrong night hours, wrong players elos (for many just 0, even they have some elo).

It took me a while to figure out how to join a tournament

Hopefully, they will get a REAL improvement soon
