Bots are created using automated scripts, meaning they will use the auto-generated suggested names of sites during the sign up process. This means bots will almost always have auto-generated names. Once you comprehend this it shouldn't be too difficult to understand why people suggest that accounts with auto-generated names might be bots, especially when they exhibit suspicious behaviour (like described above). They did in fact do more thinking than you.

Some A are B therefore all A are B is an invalid logical statement in itself. You need more to reach that conclusion, but people rarely provide anything else.
What you said simply means that any one username of this form is *consistent with*, i.e., does not rule out, the use of an automated script to create bots, and is not affirmative evidence that any particular username was the result of an automated script to create bots.

Happened to me again today. I can't figure how to report it though since it's not really a bug. The only way to resolve it is for someone to quit and take the penalty, which is obviously annoying.
