the only insult i saw was you saying "who cares" to an honest question.

He acknowledged that people who play that specific game care, and thus recommended posting in the forum for that game rather than the "general discussions" forum.

Exactly. This is being taken out of context. It wasn't "who cares": end of post. That's the same as saying "no one cares." It was actually "who cares" followed by identifying who does actually care and directing the OP to that audience.

Yes, smart people usually read the rest of the post so they don't make a ridiculously wrong and inaccurate assessment of the post, as you did.

Just to recap, since you seem to be struggling:

Barnstar wrote, (paraphrasing)

"Who cares? People who play that game, which means posting in the forum for that game is more effective than posting here".

In other words, Barnstar was giving helpful advice, yet you chose to verbally attack him for no reason other than your pathetic failure to read the remainder of the post.

You could have simply taken 30 seconds to read all that. Instead, you chose to attack Barnstar acting like the troll you have shown yourself to be.
Then again, reading another 30 seconds into a post is likely above your capabilities, so, it's all good. You be you. I'm sure it has worked out well so far.

Whether you care about a post or not is your business, but if you're going to criticize a post, reading it tends to be a good idea. Trying to defend yourself with "but I read two words" is a joke of a defense.

I always forget there are little kids on this site…
Really?

Way to be welcoming to new players.
I can't say I feel very welcoming to a "new player" jumping right into cheating accusations over a ruling concern. Not even a "could people just be making a mistake on BGA?" They jumped right into cheating. From the looks of things there's a good chance they messed up the interaction too, another possibility they didn't bother to look at. They get confronted with the possibility of their errors and they jump right to insults and nothing else. If anything, I'd say the OP can be grateful they haven't gotten much worse so far.
