Matter resolved. Cube works the same for all of us.
Keeping the cube locked also in situations where one can move checkers (and thus change the game situation) is a valid feature request - but it is not a bug. I prefer it the way that cube lock is implemented at the moment.
The cube lock works in the most important case, namely when one is on the bar and the only decision is doubling/not doubling.
