In French it says “Jokers de temps disponibles (4)”. Not sure where the “vacation/congés” wording came from.


En français, on peut lire « Jokers de temps disponibles (4) ». Je ne sais pas d'où vient la mention « vacances/congés ».

I remember seeing the term when an opponent used it and the log message said "your opponent went on vacation", or something to that effect. Which sounded absurd to me because how would the system know they are on vacation?

Huh. Now that I think about it I don’t think I’ve ever seen one get used. I’ll take your word for it, but yeah, that is weird wording. I mean, I think people could plan their vacations and wind down BGA games if they’d be completely out of touch… so it’s always seemed more likely to me that « jokers de temps » would be used for emergencies than vacations.

Vacation (freedom or release from duty, business, or activity) from BGA. For whatever reason, planned or unplanned. Don't read more into it.

Moi je le vois ....... quand je n'en ai pas besoin !!!. Quand j'en ai besoin plus rien et les pénalités tombent, c'est très désagréable !!!!!! :evil:
