Shouldn’t the “loser” be the one whose peak Elo is barely 101 across all games? What this really shows is the level of those players: unable to improve, they rely on lucky wins and then try to extract a bit of satisfaction by mocking others.

I don't know how to break this to you but if that's what you think GG means that is your own twisted view.

GG means good game. I say it when I win, I say it when I lose. Just because you have the ego the size of a mountain that gets dented when someone says "good game" it doesn't mean everyone else feels the same way.

My second language is Russian and we say спасибо за игру! This means thanks for the game. I agree with your opinion.

Here are some simple facts: I'm an Asian player who also wants to make his mark in competitive play. But I still enjoy interacting with people in-game. If I lose, I get frustrated, yet I'll still congratulate my opponent. At the end of the day, it's just a game—there are plenty of games out there that better showcase intellectual prowess, and I'm well aware I'm only a mediocre player.
Unfortunately, not everyone sees it that way. The vast majority of Asian players I've encountered—Chinese, Japanese, Korean—and nearly all high-ranked arena players, regardless of nationality, are hostile. They never respond to anything you say. Even when you offer a sincere compliment, you get nothing but silence in return. Almost every genuinely fun interaction I've had in the game has come from low-ranked Western players.And when I say low-ranked,I mean no harm

I only joined the site about a week ago hahahahahhaha i play for fun anyway not to flex elo hahahahaha imagine caring about elo on a board game designed for fun hahahaha who you are as a person is showing

This is a 7 Wonders Duel forum. Stop complaining about a gesture that most people intend to be polite on it. At least go complain on a more general forum. Leave this forum for discussions on the actual game.

But if still have a card in hand
And The game is not over yet,

When you get a card that's good enough to win the game
After that
Shouting gg in anticipation of victory
It's very arrogant and bad.
