Board Game Arena

What I don't like is that tournaments used to have the same type of wood background interface, but with the recent overhaul it's become very modern app style, giving a totally different feel to the tournament page.

Progress is important but it's problematic when it causes changes to the experience that people are gonna miss and that they can't even go back to and feel nostalgic about. I know that some websites allow you to toggle between the different versions, and I wish this site would do the same.

Oh, yes, the new auras around names is weird. The white isn't so bad, but they added black around that yellow (to make it pop?) and it doesn't look good. I'd definitely say roll this back.

I'm not against small improvements being made more frequently, and we all know BGA needs some attention, but it is all a bit unsettling and unpredictable.

Tried to get to Bugs today to report a game that is completely inaccessible, and I couldn't (still can't) get to Bugs via Forums, which is how I usually access it. I assumed Bugs was down but have now found I can get to it via the footer.

Ah, thank you! I was on mobile at the time, so it's a couple of levels deep there.

I want to protest the new neon lights' style of the usernames in games, I think this is the right place to do it? It's a horrible, blurry idea. Luckily the BGA extension already took care of this for me and everyone else using it, but for the rest of the player base... It's a torture. Make it stop.

I just noticed in a galactic era game that 3 of the 5 player colors have the glow in the player panels (did they selectively fix just certain colors, but left the rest blurry?), but in the chat box, it's the exact opposite. The 2 without the glow, have the glow (and are hard to read).

It's getting comical...

This is the kind of thing that messes with your mind. I can't tell if it's always been that way and I just now noticed it, or if it recently changed. Like that logo on the top level page of the forum? Was that there last week? If it has been around for months then there's no reason it should be standing out to me, but for some reason I'm noticing it today.

By the way, it appears you were correct and it was new. The big logo at the top of the forum is gone again (for me).

Same for me. Or....has it always been there and the new thing is it's gone!

Regarding the readability issue, we're looking into way to improve it.
