Then play outside Arena. Gurus are selected by number of games played anywhere.

Chrispanzee3 wrote: 16 July 2026, 23:37 I’ve played a game where both my opponent and I had 4 columns filled and neither of us were able to get a playable set of dice combination for 4 turns. It now gets to a point where it’s 99% luck instead of like 75% luck with 3 column games. So I’m out on this season
Are we sure that 5 columns is more luck dependent than 3 columns? I feel like it is the other way around.

Not a fan of 5 columns. Makes the end half of the game almost totally luck based and pretty boring once most of the columns have been filled. Hopefully back to three next season. I'll skip arena mode till then.

Agreed. I'm very disappointed. 3 column game is much quicker -- can play on the bus or as a quick break. The 5 column game just adds time, when most of the time the first player to 3 columns ends up winning. It just takes longer. Please everyone remember to vote 3 columns when the chance arises!

If you're already a guru, being able to vote has nothing to do with how well you do.

If you're not already a guru, becoming one has nothing to do with how well you do. It only depends on how much you play relative to how much the game is played overall. And as someone already pointed out above, you don't even have to play in Arena to become a guru eligible to vote on the Arena format.

The problem with giving this status the name "guru" is that it implies some sort of above average expertise or skill level. This is obviously not true, because I became a guru for Twin Tin Bots after completing ONE game which I lost.
