It seems entirely possible that the fix would not fix games that happened during that window. It would depend on whether the game replay files are corrupted, or if there's an easy-to-fix format issue.

To some extent, yes. Replays from before the problem manifested seem to work fine.

But not all new replays are broken. That's the puzzling part. And there seems to be nothing consistent to point to. For one particular game on BGA, for example, I have been able to watch some recent replays but not others.

That probably explains it.

When viewing the replays, or attempting to view them, I see the completion date of the game. But the important factor is the start date, not the completion date. We likely cannot view replays of games that completed yesterday but began during the period of time replays were broken.

Or not. Some games started today still have broken replays.

Is there a specific new bug report that people can vote for on this? Collecting votes on one specific report seems most likely to get attention, but it needs to be very clear that games created after the reported fix still seemingly have replay problems.

Unfortunately it's closed as a duplicate so I didn't know if the dev would see further replies.

Yes, the replays that were created during the incident are sadly corrupted and won't play even if the issue should be fixed, sorry!

That was closed as Duplicate of the game replays problems (https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=236656).

It is not a replay, I just click under my tab or mobile (all under Android) to go on BGA to the news about a running game which notify me.

The problem "Forbidden - The page cannot be opened inside a frame" does not occurred every time but is alive since it occurs for the replay !
