Just a comment and even since the servers have been beefed up, we've had slowdowns and lag with the main games. Chess is already all over the place to play. You should add solitaire next.

I believe the slow down on the server side has nothing to do with chess! And I think they are on it. Anyway, these guys are doing this website on their spare time, and there is already a huge offer of modern games, so give them a break, and huge cheers for the incredible work BGA is!

I really fail to see the point of adding chess...

Like everyone said, there are already TONS of places to do so.
This will only increase the demand on the servers.

It is very unlikely that chess players change their favourite chess site to BGA to play chess
