I have no way of knowing what is going on . I filed a player report when Silent-Gambit came online again second time. I guess i cannot do anything more.

Had i lost to a player with 1st game , i would have lost 30+ points ....
No. Your Elo k-factor is 20, so you cannot lose more than 20 points. In this case, specifically, your Elo was 288 and theirs was 0 so you would have lost ~16.2 points.
Their k-factor, for their first 10 games, is 40, so they would have stood to gain ~32.4 points from winning. But that's separate from how many points you would lose.

sdfg was a fairly popular baby name for a while. In the US in the '90s, it seemed like every girl was named Ashley and every boy was named Sdfg.

I really did not want to post this to stretch this thing further but this is reply to baby name post .
There are a bunch of accounts with starting asdf and dfgh with 0/1 game played.... just saying. Look it up
These keys are lined up on keyboard like sdfg and someone made many accounts without playing any games.
Year created is different for all accounts.
Thanks to BernardsStar for clarifying the ELO factor breakdown.

Another update about Silent-Gambit changing account
when i go to my game history and search from player Silent-Gambit it shows this: Silent-Gambit(formerly known as )
there are 6 of them ... when i click on each i get this
adfvgabewfwrgedewgae
gfdhfjshgahdjkfshagj
sdfgdsdedafssdafdsfa
tfghjukljhjgfchbjklj
sdfgdsacbfvgdsfvdafs
wdestrgfwseredtgrfyh
one of them i caught him changing his name.
that means he changed his name 6 times after playing .
As i said he is playing ... changing his name...deleting the account and making it again.
anyone can put his name in player search and it will show 6 options for this player name.

I always found it weird that you can only lose 20 points at most with regular Elo. It feels very little, like it's trying to "protect" people's Elo.
The way it is in Arena feels more competitive, like you are always having to defend your position. Big swings for losing, but also potentially big swings for winning, makes things more interesting in my opinion.

You getting tricked by the digits isn't really relevant to the thread.

I searched in my Gizmo game history for any of such names..... i found 3 more apart from the one i mentioned in starting ....
When i go to the table and click on game replay , it gives me that person's name before he changed it
fghjkhgfhjklkjhgf table #929114889......i played with Midniight_Spark
sdfgxedVVFd table #913792595.......i played with Midnight_Fury
sdfghftsyjyujdty table #911717654.... i played with Silent_Thunder
Fun fact : Silent_Thunder has 40 (formerly known as ) when you put in game history search by player.
that means he played as Silent_Thunder and changed his name after game ended and deleted his account and made a new account in same name 40 times.
Midnight_Fury has 21 (Formerly known as )
Anyone can put player name in game history and it will show what i see.

That many usernames vs the same player? That's odd. If this was blind chance, the sheer number of accounts would have to be pretty absurd or the game count per alt a lot higher than has been implied so far. Whatever it is they're doing, seems to be a matter for BGA moderators and whatever they can do.
