Thanks for your messages. You're right, this is very impolite to do such thing. The best thing is probably to forbid this "time switch" once at least one opponent joins the table. This is going to be done in the next days.

I think that all changes from the creator should not be allowed without approval by all the players at the table.
Just a window : "this settting has been changed, do you agree ? yes to play, no to leave this game".
I have been joining games with ELO off in order to learn. ELO has been changed while i was waiting (I did not take care of the text line). I have got red thumb for not playing properly... and my ELO drops down.
Some players like to play with beginners (ELO is 1500). Winning is easy and you get more points than playing with low ELO players...
BTW, i think beginners should have a lowest ELO.

For your information this is now no more allowed to switch to turn based (or realtime) when at least 1 opponent is at the table.

Back on the same problem, I sign in a Tokaido Table 4 players, and the settings are changed to 5 players and crossroads. Could this be possible to disable changes after players sign in ?
