Translation of the response of Sourisdudesert to the question (in French) from another guy (cedha2000):

"cedha2000 wrote: When will be the time of the other extensions, hi hi ???

Good question.

Actually, Intrigue will be the only extension developed on BGA for a simple reason: Rio Grande Games is preparing an on line commercial version of Dominion and when it will be out, all existing versions (including Board Game Arena, but also BSW, Isotropic, ...) will have to disappear.

Let me point that we have no idea when that will happen.

Playfully"

I don't understand your point: Donald Vaccarino allowed us to add this extension, but he couldn't allow us to use the art, that's it.

Cheers,
Apologies, I had figured the art would have come with the permissions, such as it did with the primary game.

I am pleased with the expansion, but I have two comments.

First, it was my understanding that although prety much all cards are resolved in text order, Mining Village was the exception. Specifically, the word immediately meant that the card needed to be trashed before anything else (before +1 Card, for example).

Second, I confess that I despise Saboteur. It would be really nice if there were a way to play an "anti-draft" -- that is, players may choose a few cards NOT to appear, then call for random assignment from the remaining cards.

Such sad news...

But thank you, thank you, thank you for putting out a Dominion expansion! Just the base set does tend to get a bit stale after a while.

That was my understanding too, but I now stand corrected. The Intrigue rule booklet states, "You must decide whether to trash Mining Village or not before moving on to other actions or other phases," not before drawing your extra card. The Sample Turn in the booklet leaves no doubt that the trashing decision comes after +1 card.

I have a similar feeling towards Swindler... When I play with my family, we usually do a random shuffle, with a couple vetoes for unwanted cards, or swap out some if the set lacks a +Buy or +2 Actions. I agree that iw would be nice if BGA allowed setting some rules for random card set generation, like the card picker apps for Android/iOS and websites like www.hiwiller.com/dominion :) .

I am new here and love that I can play with my friends online! I will say some cards get played differently than we interpreted but it doesn't matter to me - we are all happy just to play.

I do like the idea of being able to swap out cards too.

Great site! I am teaching my dh who is currently in the UK and I in Canada to play via this online forum!
