have to say that i wasn't a huge fan on these changes, especially the configuration taking up twice as much space on the left than before when it was at the top.

plus .. from reading comics .. you want to direct the eye in the path you want them to follow. going from the left panel .. then up to the top to open the table .. then to start .. and not being able to see who is around the table is hard to get used to.

Image

if it was up to me .. i would return the configuration stuff to the top .. maybe in another column to the right of the 'configuring game table' that is in the current header (though it would be better to squeeze it in.between the game logo and the current column .. leading the eye .. with the start game button at the farthest right). the left sidebar can then have the 'players around this table now' right up to the top.

just my 2 cents.

I like the new design but then again i dont play on here as much as others. I was wondering if games like Seasons got fixed for playing on a phone. Are you able to see the card text now?

Off-topic:

BGA doesn't develop games for mobiles and tablets.

I used to be able to sit at a table, waiting for someone to join me, and at the same time watch other tables to see if something better should come along. When it did, I would close my table and join the other.

Now, when I am sitting at a table and waiting, I cannot see the other tables. THIS I DO NOT LIKE!

before it was good to see what was the other games opened, while we were waiting on a table... because if table of same game opened, sometimes we enter in this new game. Now we have to click on play, and look on the games without having a view on our table...
Another thing, discussion only opened for more than 1 player does not show that people were here before, it's a pity.

Hi,

I apologise if this is the wrong thread to make this request...

In Tokaido and Seasons, scrolling is necessary to see your and your opponents' tableau. I would ask if possible that the display size of the cards be reduced 30-50%, allowing for a 15-card tableau in Seasons to fit on a single row. Of course mousing over will reveal each card in its full-size graphic along with its cost and description as before. But tableaus in a single row would minimise the scrolling and allow greater ease to review game progress at a glance.

Screen space optimisiation is important and the current layout works quite well given the amount of cards and information that need to be squeezed in. But smaller cards in hand & in tableau would improve it without damaging at-a-glance card recognition.

Regards,
K-Wire
