There all are good points, howeverwe are just talking about one of the few most played game on BGA, so it could work to make some kind of exception for that game & it seems to me to be relevant to mate these 2 ratings system, while it seems quite irrelevant to me for many games.
For 6 nimmt, the game is reversed if you choose professional or normal settings, strategies are quite opposite, so for this reason it would be meaningfull to make two ratings for this game.

Those who only play normal probably have no problem with the current system. Normal is easier to learn the strategy, and pro seems out of control the first 10 games or so until you learn it. (But it's a much more elegant game once you do).

So it leaves the FEW of us who play pro at a huge disadvantage in the ratings. We can never have an expert and above table because there simply aren't enough players.

It's difficult to gain rating when your opponents have 200-300 points lower rating.

More like 200-400 lower rating. if you get close to master, at 2000, and you are playing good and above many of your opponents are often at about 1600.

So someone reaching master who plays only pro is like someone playing only normal reaching 2125-2200.
