Re: About war in Ukraine
I think the problem with opinions presented here by Russians is that you all as nation lost the world's trust, due to massive russian gov's trolling system and propaganda in many countries. You can write that the situation in russia is complicated and call us to do not oversimplify things, but the reality is we don't trust your words anymore. Ask yourselves, what have you done so far to inform russian players on BGA about russian agression in Ukraine? BGA is one of these platforms you could use to spread the truth about russian fratricidal war in Ukraine. Do you rather just simply play board games here??
Re: About war in Ukraine
Honest question: what makes you think you have the right to use the terms 'us' and 'we' there? I might have another opinion, just as many other people. So all you know for sure it is your opinion.
Re: About war in Ukraine
It's great to see more Russian players posting, but it's clear that many of them have no idea what's going in Ukraine. Russian players who claim to be in solidarity with Ukraine all tend to minimize the the support of Russians of the war and blame everything on one person and his friends. It's clear to me that that they are not willing to accept even a minimal level of collective responsibility for the war and they are not willing to recognize that they are also implicated in the war whether they want this or not. This is also evident in their refusal to accept the banning of the Russian flag on BGA, some of them say that this will hinder Russian cultural connection on this site. They are not ashamed of their flag, the same flag that's on plans and bombs, used to bombard Ukrainian cities and kill children. Their proposals are absolutely minimal to what BGA can do and they say that any significant action on this site will accomplish nothing. Their resistance even to small changes indicates to me that they are not in solidarity with Ukrainian and they should really stop saying that, but also the banning of the flag on BGA is the correct action. Again, the goal is to harm Russian reputation on BGA and in the digital world and to show that the flag is a symbol of Russian aggression in Ukraine and should not be used in digital medium. For Ukrainians, the flag is a sign of death and war, to support the flag on BGA is to support the war and death in Ukraine.

Everyone can choose for themselves who or what they wish to support and should not be made to feel guilty by others.

Asmodee have pledged 500,000 Euros to support Ukraine. You are helping BGA with that by being a BGA member. Thanks for your support towards the Ukrainian people.Duchess-Kinga wrote: ↑21 March 2022, 14:03 Everyone can choose for themselves who or what they wish to support and should not be made to feel guilty by others.
Ukraine are going through unimaginable tough times at the moment. BGA is open to allow communications to Russians who may be influenced by their state media that otherwise paint a different picture. Russia is a democracy. The best way to stop the war would be if the Russian population speak out against the actions of their leaders.

RicardoRix, why don't you go to Moscow and protest, then you can let us all know how you got on.

I am not Russian, and I do not live under a Russian government. These are not people acting in my name, or under the country in which I live and am proud to be a part of.Duchess-Kinga wrote: ↑21 March 2022, 15:01 RicardoRix, why don't you go to Moscow and protest, then you can let us all know how you got on.
I live in a Democracy, in the UK. If I have a problem with my own government, then I will protest. I can protest freely and without fear of being arrested. I fully support my governments statements against the war and with the economic sanitations placed on Russia. Most of the UK population agree with this. There is no argument between politicians on this stance.
I fully support BGA's decision to allow Russian players here on BGA. This way communications can be made to help Russians better understand the situation with the war in Ukraine.
