Playing this for the first time now. What a wonderful job you've done with my favourite Carcassonne expansion (thus far)! The graphical enhancements are just of the right type to give it an added dimension and zap appropriate to a dragon, but still feel like a classic boardgame experience.

The version with the new graphic is extremely slow. We had to quit the game as it was not possible to play.
Also it is quite difficult to distinguish the different elements. the old graphics was much clearer.

Thanks for the improvements.
I've been wanting the zoom feature (had some accidents due to playing on a phone...)
The highlights for where you can actually place your piece is pure genius... love it.
Took a little bit to adjust to the new tile look, but it's not a bad one.
All in all I really like and appreciate the hard coding that went into this, thank you.

Looks like the current implementation allows the player to place the fairy/meeple before the dragon has moved. This doesn't seem to align with the rules where the dragon moves first:

-1. place tile

-1a. dragon moves (if dragon tile in step 1)

-2. place follower / move fairy / pull abbot / score acrobats

-3. score completed feature(s)

Interesting developments. Thanks! I look forward to trying our the dragon.

It's also interesting that you mention colour. I have found, as a sufferer of mild/moderate colour blindness, that it's difficult to see some meeple on some of the backgrounds. The last time I played, it seemed to be only possible to set your own colour at the start of the game, but you cannot change the colour your opponents are represented by. This means that enemy meeple can be lurking on backgrounds that make it difficult to see and strategies are, in some cases, scuppered detrimentally.

Any chance of a colour-blindness friendly update? Even if the meeple just had solid outlines, the problem might be alleviated.

Thanks for reading!

Cheers!

Not really BGA's fault, it's the choices of Hans Im Gluck's design team. I too prefer the more subtle tones of the old art style, and I appreciate the fact that the retro tiles are still available with a preference setting.

REALLY happy about the zoom controls. I usually want to make very slight adjustments to the board view, and this allows for such fine control.

Thanks for putting all this hard work for us premium users. I often use Carc to invite others onto the site ;)

Noticed in a recent update that the art style gets mixed in my latest game, anyone else having this issue as well?

Love the new update, please keep them coming!

I would also like to request the option of being able to switch on/off the grey squares showing where your tile can go. They're very distracting.
