I love the new look! Really meshes well with the site overall. Stands out and gives impression of joy and fun. Well done.

Its is an improvement... Although i think that the logo is not very inclusive for people who like to play with green... haha

Creative Director here - sharing some thoughts on the new logo (take or leave as you like):

- There’s an inconsistency between the cloud with three colors and the cloud with “BGA.” The latter feels incomplete. I understand you may have been trying to avoid overwhelming the design with too many colors, but with just the blue “G,” the balance feels off. It feels empty and unfinished w/o the other 2 colors.

- The cloud treatment isn’t consistent across variations. In one version it overlaps the “B” in “BGA,” while in another “BoardGameArena” it doesn’t.

PS. I've been in the business long enough to know this feedback will not go anywhere... however it's a fist bump to the few that mentioned it in design review, and got ignored.

I don't mind most of the new logo, I just freakin' hate the shadow. It doesn't conform to the actual shape of the letters, especially along the bottom. You have a completely rounded edge at the right on the shadow but it's coming off an 'a' that has a sharp lower right corner.. and the shadow from the lower portion of the 'g' doesn't even exist.

For players who joined BGA after the current design was implemented, please note that the logo is not a cloud or a pillow, but is actually meant to represent a table!


When that change happened, we weren't very happy about it, except personally, I liked the new colors—those shades of blue and purple; I thought they were very nice... The old colors were just ugly primary colors, and now we're going back to them... That's called a step backward!
And of course, even back then, when they first changed the logo, they must have paid a lot of money for a "professional graphic designer"!

Everyone is gonna have an opinion. This aligns with the Asmodee branding. The dimensional shadow treatment of this brand isn't my favorite, but overall, I think it's about time for a refresh! Good job y'all!

I personally am not a fan, but I also think asmodee's logos aren't great either. However, I'll get used to it.

One fun suggestion, take the two logos with the blue g and blue game and make a variation for every favorite color you can choose in your profile settings and for that user load the version with the g/game piece in their favorite color.
