Rails and Sails would be nice

Also eventually splitting Nordic countries from other maps (maybe having a "map collection" category and a "standalone maps" category for stuff like Rails and Sails , Marklin/Germany and Nordic countries (for this latest category, some versions would eventually be "promoted as independant" if they see enough play, i think it would cool to have all "standalone games" merged together at first))

Also i voted for South Korea (because the map looks funny)

Marklin would also be nice because it's clearly the superior version compared to Germany, but i guess it would be complicated due to the trains company thingie? (would be funny to have official variants included in the German map though so that it "simulates" Marklin in some way))

Idk about any of these maps to choose. Permit me be to be off topic. Is it possible to add Solo setting to all T-to-R on this platform. Just playing against AI. Curious why that isn't added to all games on BGA. Is it licensing, publisher permission, etc keeping you guys from implementing it? Just curious. Thanks.

Remember "TTR: Europe" here on BGA.
We don't get warehouses and depots.

It starts everyone in England exclusively, only able to claim 1- and 2-length routes. But through purchasing technology cards and gaining visas to other regions, each person carves out their own asymmetrical strategy. There's options for wide, tall, short, long, destination, card-draw, ships, and more. It's the most complicated Ticket to Ride but if you're somebody who likes games like Wingspan and Forest Shuffle, it's probably the most fun.

Especially on higher number of players it makes for really interesting clashes of styles, would also be cool to have a map with a 4 or 5 player arena format.
This requires both a massive change of the game mechanics, i.e. internal software rules.
Thats not realistic.

If you just get UK or Germany with the USA rules or like with limited European rules ( tunnels+ferries, stations ), so no technology cards for UK, no passengers for Germany, would that be ok too?

Does anybody know the situation with the
Marmalade Game Studio Ticket-To-Ride game with "rich clients", i.e. software clients for PCs and smartphones,
do they have

warehouse + depots for TTR:Europe
technology cards for TTR:UK
passengers for TTR:Germany
?

Stations for TTR:Europe, as available here at BGA, is a massive change of the game mechanics.

In terms of computer technology: stations require "multiple inheritance", else "there can be just single inheritance" is the rule.
There are programming languages which allow MI, but most don't allow this.
What if the game mechanics is ither built on the game progamming language, or - more likely- is implemented on a well-known feature of a programming language?,,, you cant extend a programming language with single inherence by an multiple inherence option, easily...

Sincerely
Rolf

Are you the TTR developer? I am a software developer myself and I didn't really understand what you mean. Like I don't know the limitations of whatever language/framework BGA is using, but to me it seems that the Business logic of the games should be fairly easy to implement - a graph with extra attributes on the vertices(for the Passengers) or on the edges(for the stocks). Not sure what it has to do with multiple inheritance and I doubt whatever the language is will have functional problems implementing a pretty simple structure. Maybe DM me whatever I'm missing.

And no I personally wouldn't like to see Germany without passengers or UK without technologies - it kill the essence of the game.

In Marmalade, Germany maps indeeds have passengers system. For UK maps that previously was available in Asmodee apps, it had technology cards.

I think we need maps that aren't on Steam:
Netherlands, Old West, Italy, Iberia, South Korea, Northern Lights.
