This forum is mostly here for feedbacks. Bugs are best to report it in bug section (community / bug). Please specify the exact table ID where the problem happened so we can check what happened.

The problem:
You have enabled too many roles of the village. This simply allows people to claim at the start what they are and then remove the rest of the people by lynch while Little Girl and Seer - protected by the witch - investigate upon them. There need to be few roles. FT is enabled by default. Cupid should never be on, it allows someone to hinder people with superior rank by possibly giving them an almost unplayable win condition, and it ... gives people that, and unfairly(at the start of the game). The captain is superfluous; no one wants captain, so no one will vote for one. Thief enables highly unbalanced games(2 werewolves removed; FT/WW removed, WW removed and thief doesn`t take them) and is not competitive.
The extension is also very unreliable and dependant on who gets what. This leaves Witch, Hunter and Seer. And Little Girl.
Of these, Little Girl is dependant on random numbers whether it fails or not; the rest is not. Witch and possibly Hunter(seer isn`t even an option to remove but you need to keep it in mind as it is the strongest role that sees one persons alignment per round) plus seer should be balanced in competitive games.

The idea is that reaching each league is an achievement in itself. So if you don't want to spend much time, reaching Silver league can be your objective. Elite league is designed for the most demanding/available/competitive players.

but as the system is , reachign silver is a matter of volume, not skill or good winrate, and you are doing the same with elite.
Being able to produce "volume" or competing in "volume" of games, it's not the kind of competition that i hope arena wants to be.

You're right. At the moment where you cannot lose your grade, everyone will eventually climb up provided they play enough. Unless there is a way to force Elite players to play only against other Elite players, the actual system will not proove much about skill. And even if Elite players play only between themselves, the current system allows for an ever-groing Elite division.

To state it in another way, each new player that enters the Elite division contributes to weaken the Elite division.

Well, another half an hour fruitlessly trying to join an arena game of Puerto Rico. A game did start, but a player had a rep of 14%, and quit immediately.

I'm not feeling much love for it so far...

The goal of arena, i thought is for players to be able to see how good their skill/understanding of the game is compared to the rest of the BGA arena. But if the barrier of entry to that comparsiion is 200 hours in 3 months, then it means that even if i decided to do the work, the comparision will be only made against other people , not many , that are willing to do the same, instead of a more wide amount of population. A log of great players will not take into account because they, smartly, decide to not invest 200 hours in 3 months THAT SEASON. So even if i achieve elite 1, my result will have lowmeaning and i will keep wandering if my understanding of the game is correct or i just reached there for being one of the few players willing to invest 200 hours this season.

It says

Then I click on that game and it starts searching and never has found anything in 8 tries.

I understand why there is no matching confirmation button.
However, please go to the game screen to start and change the display of the browser tab from [Play].
Because if you can't hear the sound, it will time out.

I feel some games should allow player choice of expansions or number of players, or at least "I am willing to play this this this expansion and this number of players".

Also the waiting time is very long for some of these games and I didn't even get notification that a game has started. Luckily my opponent didn't kick me out despite me going a minute over time.

How do I get out of arena mode?
