Thank you for all your work! As far as creating blog posts - a post about how you managed to get the first games up initially and considerations around revenue or intellectual property would be very interesting to hear about. Basically, how you managed to get started, and in those early days, what decisions you made and what you'd learned / wish you'd done differently.

But then there was an advertisement, a political even, in the middle of the text. Then I thought it's just the computer translating it in a strange way, but it's not. Not sure what this message is meant to be but it has a bitter taste to it indeed.
You can turn off ads in your settings
In the middle of the news text? I doubt his text snipped that way.

I am so grateful to you and your co-founders and developers. Board Game Arena gave me the chance to keep my community of friends together during the most difficult times of isolation due to COVID. It was a life-saver in ever way. And so I know that you could not have anticipated thirteen years ago how important this service would become, I applaud the way that you steered this ship, I approve of the increase in fees that this has necessitated, and I continue to be grateful for this service. I regularly tell people, whether gamers or not, that BGA is a truly beautiful place on the Internet. It is where you can *safely* meet new people, practice your language skills and intercultural communication, and have a *good game*. I also want you to know that this is one of the few places on the Internet that I can interact with so many people without encountering sexual harassment. It is one of the safest place I know I can go to online! And that alone is worth celebrating.

Thank you, Merci, Grazie, ありがとう, Buíochas, Miigwetch, شكراً, Gracias, תודה, eskerrik asko, Danke. GG!
