An Awesome December

Thank you, BGA!

What a year it has been. We have been at home for months without outings or friends/family. Boardgaming has made life better, and BGA has made life better. This will be a fun thing to look at each day! I am excited to keep learning new games!

What? It is 31 new games to BGA.
This might just be a matter of semantics. They’re new in that they are being officially released but many people have been playing Thurn & Taxis for weeks.

It’s also just a bummer that anyone can go to the “games” tab and figure out that tomorrow is probably fleet or forbidden island or welcome to or something like that but it won’t be any of the games you see people writing on this thread that they are hoping for. It’s fun! Just not new in that sense.
Yeah thanks, someone understood what I meant. New as in "not actually really new".

The beta period is just early access for upcoming games, same as any other type of game not just board games.

I'm going to have to learn what the French timezone is in comparison to mine now, I know I'm ahead, but I've just opened the 4th gift on my end and am sad I can't yet jump into arena mode for it. (First of these games where I have actually reached 100 elo)
I feel like a kid that's snuck down early to get their Christmas's present, and then rewrapped it in the hopes their parents don't find out they already know.

Haven’t gotten the “open gifts” to work on desktop. Thought it was triggering by opening the article showing me the day’s game .... until I did today’s on mobile and it said I opened my first gift... hmmm

Betas are not releases.
Like playing Cyberpunk 2077 right now as it is not released, the 10th of December it will be considered a new game.
Don't consider BETA as granted ;)

People need to calm down about this and realize that all of these games are in the Beta Section already.
