Sourisdudesert & Een:

Thank you for your efforts. They have become a lifeline for my family to get to see friends and family scattered around the world. The one common part is a weekly games night on BGA almost always. That has held us through the worst of the last 3 years and has let us regularly see our friends and family in D.C,, in Ottawa but injured and unable to travel much, in Kitchener, in Kingston, in Carleton Place, and Japan. That's no mean feat. We get to put aside our troubles and our distance and share laughs and some gaming fun for a few hours weekly.

I'm afraid of what Asmodee will do. But I do understand the effects of proprieter burn out. I have seen many software projects cease because the proprieter just got burn down and had nobody to hand the project off to.

You (and the team working their now) are in our collective debt. I hope that this work of yours will persist in a way that we would all want it to, but time will tell.

You two particularly have given of your ingenuity, perseverance, patience, and vision. You deserve a rest, a new horizon when you are ready, and I think both of you will make further marks in this world.

Thank you, very sincerely.

Thank you Greg (and Emmanuel too!) for keeping it going through all your endeavors. Needless to say you made a huge impact on so many peoples lives, especially with the last years of covid. You really made a difference. Gl&hf!

Thank you very much Greg and Emmanuel. Just before the Covid lockdowns started here in the UK it was very obvious to me that life was going to change for an extended period and that my board gaming friends and I would not be able to meet face to face to play for quite a long and unknown amount of time. Up to that point none of us had heard of BGA.

I went looking on the internet to see if there were any online games we might play. I stumbled across BGA and it looked like the answer to a prayer. It wasn't easy to convince my friends to give it a try because we are an older group and a few of the others had no or very limited computer skills and a fear of technology. However I persevered with them (it wasn't easy) and they are now all firm BGA addicts and fans. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that I think you and BGA literally saved our sanity through those dark days. All I can do is to offer my sincere gratitude and wish you bon chance and bon voyage. What a great work of art you're leaving behind and what great value for money it is. I hope it remains so.
