ich muß schon wieder negative Berichterstattung machen. Will schon 10 x in Folge Tock spielen.

But - @all - what the heck is this in the server status? A drop in moves every 15-20 minutes, and a hail of "disconnected from game server" messages in my browser. Is the network still whacky?

Robo

Oke, this is an old message.
A thing you could consider is making another Lobby. Lobby_1 , Lobby_2. When you get online you can choose your Lobby so you can arrange the lobby you want to play in with your friends. When you are not playing with your friends you can choose the option random lobby

BGA, thanks a bunch for all the games and the How to Play! It sure makes being quarantine easier! Can you add ratings to the games?

I've only been a user of BGA for a few days and because I liked it so much I became a premium member right away.
But since yesterday it is almost impossible to do a move in any of the games; the BGA start page does not even load. :(
So I appreciate the work you do, but I hope to be able to play again soon. Thanks.

Thanks! Actually nothing has changed yesterday that would freeze anything, and 30.000 players where connected yesterday evening, so it works! Please try clearing your browser cache and/or using another browser. You can also use the troubleshooting page to check that everything is working properly: https://boardgamearena.com/troubleshoot

Thanks for the help. I had to restart my router (!) before everything worked fine again. Probably it mixed up some routes. :D

Danke
I reckon it's your browser/pc then, as fellow premium member from Germany I did not really encounter errors of such magnitude. An occasional reload here and there. The sa.e for others whether premium or not. Once they got in as no. Premium members they where good to go.

Regarding the suggestion of everything for free and anon, yes it lowers the server load but opens it to bots, will introduce advertising to cover for server cost. Splitting based on geolocations would kill it for me as I have friends in almost every continent with whom I play.

Allowing to pick between different lobbies I could still understand, and only being able to play real time games there. Statistics can then still be pushed to a general computing server which doesn't do matching but just statistics tracking
