We worked hard on this new version, which is the new official version of Hanabi, and we continue to work hard to fix the last bugs and take into account your feedback, as you can see with the continuous update since the release.
I understand that you worked hard on this version, I really do, but unfortunately that doesn't change anything about the outcome.
Now, if this thread is just a collection of "your attitude is awful" and "I want the old version and nothing else", well, we will just stop reading this thread because it's absolutely pointless.
But it really wouldn't be pointless if you instead made it at priority to listen and maybe question whether or not you might have made a mistake.
We will not go back to the old version: we want to have the most advanced and recent version of all games, and this include Hanabi. So if you want to help, please move forward, make constructive suggestions (on this version) and stay polite. Thanks.
Hello there, I would really want to know if you could fix the update so that we can still play the game on our iphones and ipads?? currently it is only working on computers :( :( My mother loves this game for example and does not own a computer and always plays on her ipad. Please please please can you fix this. Thank you.

Hello everyone,

From the last exchanges, it appears that this thread is not a very good way to handle your feedback, as the very helpful feedback and suggestions are flooded in the middle of tons of messages. No one is really reading each others, and our updates are not visible (without speaking about by pointless aggressive messages ...).

From now, please report bugs & suggestions on:
https://boardgamearena.com/bugs?game=1015

This way, bugs & suggestions will be organized by subjects, for improved communication.

The updates will continue to be posted on this thread, so it will be easier for you to follow every update.

UPDATE:

Hanabi interface options button, so you can choose the interface you prefer:

Using this option, you can choose to display players "around a table", like in the real game, or "stacked", like in the previous BGA adapation.

You can also choose to display the "Fast hints" buttons. Using these buttons, you can select first a color/value, and then select a player (like in the previous BGA adaptation).

New Update:
_ Stacked version on mobile is now available.
_ The discarded card appears a little bit later to avoid confusion with the discard animation.

NEW UPDATES:
_ You can now switch between "chronological order" and "sorted by values"
_ In "sorted by values", equal values are now aligned horizontally to improve readability.
_ chronological / by value sorting for discard is now available as Preferences on mobile + is stored as a permanent preference for you.
