I discovered that it is better to understand English than chineses.

I think it is already clear that it is the top 3 of the game, as there is clearly written that the ELO ranking is used for it.

The overall ranking on BGA is not ELO, it is prestige points, so this cannot be the ranking for this contest.

Is shipping included in the prize? Just wondering if the contest is relevant for everyone around the globe or just for US. Shipping from US + taxes often doubles the price of the game, thus if it's not included, the price may very well be the same as if I bought the game in store.

Don't take me wrong, the idea is awesome. I just want to know if it's something I can participate in.

This is going to be awesome. I echo the sentiments above that it would be even cooler if the top eight played a knockout tourney for the three prizes up for grabs, but hey, however it's done is nice. I'm looking forward to learning a new game!

I think this is a good idea. Consider the people who cheat just because it seems to boost their ego. But such a prize could definitely make them prone to cheating. A small tournament would make sure they can really play.

It's a fabulous contest, though I can't imagine myself getting that good at anything in that time span.

Tournament is a good decision if there is enough time for it.
