13 - 4 - 1 : Colt Express (win)

Colt Express is a very clever 'program moves' interactive party game. A bit like robo rally but easier and faster. Recommend to play with friends. It's not a serious competitive beast.
This win - Never played 2 player before.
I got the suitcase on the last turn of the last round, which just tipped it over to my advantage.

Jaipur: Nice player game anyone can play. Strategy is pretty solid, just luck of the cards being turned over.
This game, I lost to grammiej!
It was 1 - 1 in rounds and I had 4 cloth and could have finished a few turns previous, I gambled to see if I could get a 5th and a bigger bonus, but the gamble was a bad idea, grammiej closed it down and I lost the game by 7 points.

I really like china gold, another one of those short and sweet 2 player games, BUT there is a stupid rule of turning back 1 instead of taking your turn.
Unfortunately this really slows the progress down and makes a quick logic game into a slow bore fest so I've since stopped playing.
This particular game thankfully had very few turn 1 backs. The strategy I employ is simple, make the most of you position while not helping your opponent, this usually means playing in just one mountain but many rivers. Try and make it dis-jointed for your opponent while simplifying your own side.

No one joined my Assiria game so I'm putting that down as a draw.

I don't really know what to say about this game, I don't dislike it, but I also don't really know what I am suppose to be doing. However a win from just playing what I can see in front of me. Some of the level3 cards help me gain x3 points for my yellow army.

Well a HUGE loss, perhaps not unexpected - this was my 1st game on BGA. I did own this game as a kid and played a fair amount with my granddad.
I guess I need to get some proper strategy lessons. Atleast I did lean a good lesson in the defeat.

Well Chess960 actually.
What to say about chess - the ultimate board game.
This particular game was a bit dull, there was some middle game wrangling with his king slightly exposed but after I was a piece up and a queen exchange was offered I thought I'd need to do something very bad to lose it from here.

Well, this beast of a game still eludes me.
I lost the moment I choose my colour.

Sorry about that.
I'm not the best player but from the first moment it just all worked.
You are doing great 17-7 is a nice score.

thx Cappie

you played well, I never stood a chance
This is a great medium sized game.
This game was all 1-way traffic, the brutal nature of losing your people meant that there is no way back once you fall too far behind.
