Thanks for the demo! Looks like everything is working well.
As expected, the top scores in both games dropped to about half their previous values (counting from 1500).

The new proposal sounds better. I haven't played the games affected by the changes; can someone enlighten me as to how the changes modified the top ten/top twenty standings? Was it just a point rescaling or was there a substantive difference in positions? Thanks.

I will appreciate the new system, but i suggest to introduce the "no ranked" option. In chess it have no sense, but here, when there are a lot of different games, it can be very useful for to push people to learn and test games and strategies.

@idum: what do you mean with "no ranked"? is it "unrated"?
anyway, I have seen my other ratings changed, mostly affected is Stone Age and Puerto Rico, and I like it, since I lost a lot on Puerto Rico against the best player, now I'm 5th in PR, but still around 40-50 in Stone Age...
Anyway, is the implementation the reason why the site gets slower now?

Yes, "no ranked" would be "unrated"

Hey admins
1. You're doing a great job.
2. following the new ELO ranking system, it would be nice of you that even the players not members of the BGA club receive a private message with their new rankings.
Thanks

After all the time praising the new system, today I have to say, there must be something bad here... And there really is!
See my Saboteur game
here, yes I know maybe I complain because I lost. But, winning 82 points is too much for a game, 40 or 50 is tolerable, but 70 or 80 is totally untolerable. That's just my opinion anyway.
