This is very true.

The remaining question would be, are you allowed to give 2 gold instead of 1 to the same player for the same good (by not using a Market card for example) ? i guess not

Yes, that case makes sense, giving to different players. But there may be no reason to show both "pay 2 to PlayerA" and "pay 4 to PlayerA" as options.

No, this is against the rules.

If you see such option, please let me know (ie post a screenshot). It does't make any sense and mast be a bug.

I did see it in this game table=110563079 (commented on it to the other players, though not with the in-game chat). I'll grab a screenshot if I see it again.

EDIT: no need, faced it myself in another game.

This is a valid situation / NAB. Let's say you have a split or Caravansary, a Forum, and a Trading Post. You need two brown resources as well as two grey ones to build a card. Now you have a choice how to use split / Caravansary / Forum and you are allowed to use them inefficiently. Nothing in the rules forces using them in the most optimal way.

Ok, I have submitted a patch to BGA to fix it. If you look at my screenshot above, option 3 makes no sense as there is option 1. Choosing 3 would mean you are king making a player. So once my patch is approved, such trade options will no longer appear. Nice catch ObiQuiet!

In general, it is worrisome and upsetting that you alone can decide what to change in the client (including breaking the game rules) without vetting from community / site owners, especially taking pushing for controversial cheatbot P* into account.
