Board Game Arena

Graphics look poor and are harder to read icons etc. It looks dated and a backward step. A real shame to mess up a great game.

The new design is worse than the old one.
The list of chained cards on the bottom is hard to read, costs are not obvoius as before.
The rule changes have not been made clear.
Some texts are not fully translated.
Some unbalanced costs in the old game do not justify these changes.

Please revert to the old game!

Very much appreciate the time spent on this. The higher contrast is great! A big drawback for us was that we found it far harder to see the cost of cards, and other players reported the card selection process seems less intuitive (but that could just be a question of time to adapt). Thank you for giving us the option to still select the old version if we prefer. The User Interface issue with card cost on the new version can be resolved, just improve the contrast on high res monitors, as the new graphics are beautiful.

I find the new icons REALLY hard to see, and the graphics are worse for players because the (unimportant) artwork is bigger whilst the things important for gameplay are harder to read.

I'm just going to play non-Arena games on the old version from now on.

Thanks for the update! I like the look. Getting used to the newly balanced cards will take some time.

can we please work on getting some more wonders added? The same basic ones are getting stale to play with over and over. thanks!

Can we treat the New Edition as separate game in BGA?

1. Right now, the New and Old editions are treated as mere options when setting up a game. It's a little confusing especially at the game lobby because the game box icon shows the New Ed artwork, even for an old edition table. In fact, with so many tables in the game lobby and very small game description which is lumped together with the game restriction (player level and groups) , the only way to tell before joining if the table is New or Old is if there's a small description that says "New Edition". When there are many tables open all scrolling up and down the screen and only a few seconds to join before the table becomes full/started, it becomes very difficult.

2. The Elo ratings gets combined for the Old and New editions because BGA treats both editions as just one game. Same problem for Arena rankings.

If we can't have separate entry, can BGA at least sort/group the open tables in the game lobby according to the version being played, ie, all New Edition are grouped together and all Old ed grouped together?

please please please make icons bigger, i can't see them!! before they were of the right size

it's so true; this is so bad i don't want to finish my first and last game with this tiny graphis
