@Ankeszu. The ironic thing is that you made some valid points that you should actually file as suggestions in the bug report forum.

While the bug/suggestion system can be uncomfortable and should definitely be renamed somehow, it is for now the best system we have on this free website. Posts like yours make it clear to me why suggestions are better tracked in single tickets. We should make stuff as easy as possible for the devs. I totally get that the system can be inconvenient but it's far better to me to go through a little bit of inconvenience with the hope that devs actually react to my posts rather than a post of mine goes lost in the shallows of a long forum thread. Almost all the devs keep on saying to use the ticket system, so let's do that.

I think the more ironic thing is they're getting a lot more interaction in the forum here! But I digress, I think the point is that people like to discuss things before going towards a formal route. The forums are more accessible (like Ankeszu mentioned) and better for generating dialogue. I do not think anyone expects the devs to look here and make the changes.

Step 1) Discuss in forums, gather feedback/survey/research/visibility (maybe someone has a better suggestion! or maybe someone just wants to vent and see if they're alone in their feelings)
Step 2) Submit a formal suggestion/bug report to see the changes

i.e. forums for discussion, and bug report forum for action.

Yes, from the game-filtered bugs page you can. But there is no similar button in Bugs you voted for. Well, actually there is a button, "see more", but it shows not exactly what a person expects when clicking it.

Maybe my input was hidden automatically because of the wrong coding on the Bugs page, I don't know, I prefer to assume so instead that someone hide it on purpose. But nevertheless, it kind of is lost content.

I agree, Recyclops. As long as we see any kind of action taken when there are many votes and comments.
For game-related bugs I do reports (though not all do/check them later - I notice that in Hanabi community many players just included the very annoying screen freeze as their new normal way of starting game).
And for BGA website bugs... There is a (pages & months long) topic on the forum and 168 votes report on the same topic, with no admin response, and it is discouraging from taking this kind of action. The forum does feel like you are more heard, even if it is just an echo.

dschingis - As mentioned earlier, I ALREADY MADE a report on Bugs page regarding Bugs page. A report that is now blank and marked "not updated", though my input can be still read in the page source, and IMO this input was informative enough. Why should I assume the next report on similar (Website) issues would be treated differently? https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=13617

Whoa, I didn't knew this one, sorry ! But that must quite a long time since I got some bugs openend for about 6months and they are not automatically closed. Maybe a year ? Maybe that an automatic tool to avoid a too large database and in that case that wouldn't be surprising if the tool is erasing the content to save space.

If I'm not mistaken, I think that admins are also developpers on Hanabi, so that might be the reason why they are dealing with bugs reports on the game.

I know we were told to report bugs and suggestions at https://boardgamearena.com/bugs?sort=vo ... &game=1015 but nothing seems to be happening to the many, many issues that have been reported there and the new interface is still much worse than the old one. I still don't really feel like playing much and I miss my old favourite game.
