Gift points dissappear!?

I didn't even know that they could be used for anything, and recently when my premium membership ran out
(a) I didn't even get any notice that it was happening
(b) it sure would have been nice for the website to ask "do you want to spend these points, good for nothing else, on that?"

I confirm that there is a limit in time, like any other "promotion" in any other services, and our choice was to make it very large (12 months).

12 month might be a long time if you were able to use them immediately after getting them. But when you learn games slowly (like 1 game a month), you might need more than a year until you're able to spend them on anything (because you need 100 points to use them at all).

It's a bit unfortunate that you lose them before having a chance at all to do anything with it.

So i kindly suggest to give an opportunity to use them by
(a) don't delete them when it's below 100 or
(b) give a chance to spend a smaller amount for something (like spend 1 gift point to host a premium-table once)
(c) gift them to friends - it's "gift-points" after all (most likely gonna be abused by multiple accounts though)
