Have you defined already how much will be the monthly and yearly premium subscription in Brazilian Reais BRL?

If you had told me in April 2020 that for just $24 someone had a guaranteed way to entertain me and my distant friends on a weekly basis for the rest of the year that didn't involve travel or exposing myself to the effects of a pandemic, I would have said, "Add a zero, mate!"

I, for one, appreciate the availability of high-quality gaming experiences on this site, and would continue to support it at an even higher price point, especially if it afforded me advance features I could use exclusively with my friends (e.g. tournaments, promotion/relegation leagues).

This is usual for many other online services. The main reason is that "euros minus VAT in Eurozone" are more or less equivalent to "us dollars minus taxes in US".

Anywhere you can point to read about this "equivalence"? Assuming 10% taxes in USA and change 1 € ~~ 1.16 $, the equivalent VAT would be 27.6% which is higher than the highest rate in EU (range is 17% - 27%).

For the records, your service your rules! 30 €/year is a honest price overall in my opinion - just let's not pretend people in EU pay the same.

Even with the price increase, still well worth it. I play on BGA everyday.

And one years sub is only equivalent to 3 months that I pay on another online platform far less than I play on BGA.

At the time of writing 30 USD = 25.73 EUR . You are complaining about a 4.27 EUR difference for a years service?

Sounds like a fair increase to me. In my eyes, it's still a good bargain. One of my absolute favorite things about BGA is being able to try a game, and play it a few times. It has introduced a few games to me, that I've had to purchase a copy for my family to play at home.

Totally understandable decision.

5 euros is more or less 30 BRL so it will probably be this price.

In BRL the increase is way more important than in the other currencies because of the EUR/BRL exchange rates (as you know). Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this, as we have to keep our prices coherent in the different countries/currencies.

Brazil will be hugelly affected by this. Back in 2016, 24 Euros cost 96 BRL. With the new price, 30 Euro will be 180 BRL !!!! almost 100% increase...

Like I said in my previous post, for what BGA delivers, it's totally comprehensive that we pay more for the Premium service, but for new players, I will not be surprised if the number of Brazilian subscribers drop significantly...

The solution, for now is to grant a subscription before Nov 1st.

Tell me, if any user subscribes on October 31, 2021 it will be valid for 12 months. After October 2022, the renewal on this person's credit card will be automatic and will apply which policy? old one because of a renewal, or the new prices?
