A few? What a nonsense comment, you make it sound like some sort of doping scandal. This is a full-blown war, with massive civilian casualties and war crimes being committed as we speak. To top it off, the average Russian is being fed propaganda and lies and doesn't even think anything is happening.

Change needs to come from within. The entire world is cutting Russia out of everything, sending a strong message.

In Tennis, for instance: Davis Cup and other Country-Competitions, involve the country (Russia), while in Singles Independent Competitions, players are... independent (even if they represent a country).

I think that in sports that involve the Country, teams/players should be banned (and they are): Davis Cup in Tennis, Ice Skating, Olympic Competitions, some Soccer Competitions, etc.

In sports which don't involve the country, and in which athletes are independent, Russia not gaining 1 penny, I think a simple ban of the flag would suffice (in WTA Monterrey Tennis Tournament, that is being done as we speak, this week).
Someone please correct me if some countries receive a part of the money a Singles Tennis Player receives (I am not sure, but I think Belgium's law made Justine Henin & Kim Clijsters give a small part of their money prizes).
If this is the case, I would also agree on banning every Russian in Independent Competitions, in order for their country to not receive anything.

On BGA, I think the message you talked about, is a brilliant idea! Congratulations.
And it should be easy for BGA to use the IP thingy and set it into motion.

I think the banning of Russia using IP is a bit harsh, but I suggest banning all of Russian Flags, instead.

If the whole country was banned on BGA, though... I would have nothing against it, either.
I am happy to see I am not the only one with such opinions, on BGA.

Because they are complicit in the war crimes that their government and soldiers are currently committing in Ukraine. Every day that passes makes more blood stick at the hands of the russian people. Would we have continued playing with Germans in 1939?

I know this is a bit over the top, but the images of Russians shelling Ukraine's cities are hard to watch.

Was Sie hier machen ist auch nicht in Ordnung. Und dank Ihnen werde ich immer einen fahlen Geschmack bei dem Wort Ukraine haben. Ich möchte meine Prämie zurück die bis 8.9. 2023 noch läuft. Da BGA jetzt Stellung bezogen hat, ist es für mich eine Zumutung weiter zu hier zu spielen. Damit würde ich automatisch die Einstellung der BGA und die der 2 agressiven Spielern akzeptieren. Davon nehme ich Abstand. Ob die 2 Spieler ihrem Land mit dem Auftreten einen gefallen tun, möchte ich bezweifeln, für das Verhalten mir gegenüber ist das ein grund damit ich nichts an Ihr Land spenden werde. Es tut mir für Ihre Bevölkerung leid, aber sowas geht gar nicht. Lasse mich nicht beleidigen und beschimpfen und dann auch ncoh was spenden.
