I no longer give recommendations for music to friends unless they specifically request it (which is almost never). I don't talk about music much either because most people only listen to drake, some generic trap artist, or Luke Graham, which leads me to make snap judgments about other people's musical preferences. So, yeah, I try to avoid discussing music too much with other people unless it's something I know we both really like.
