That is not how the gurus work unfortunately.
Within th group of gurus there is the same discussion as here.

First we got the message that nothing would/could change. Then we got the topic to give input very quickly.

The powers that be (not the Gurus, but game developers and BGA admins) decided that there wasn't enough "traction" to change it.

So if we want to change it we need to get more people to answer this topic and state which scenarios they do not want to stay in Arena mode.
Only a few of us reacted here and some of them did not agree on the course we wanted to take. The powers that be listened to us all and thought too little reaction/commotion/people and what there was was inconclusive.

So give this change a voice and put your vote in this topic. Or the silent (sometimes not) majority will lead the way and the next Arena season will be no different. Speak up, rage against the dying of the light!


And on a sidepath (maybe we need to start a separate topic on that): we need more interesting scenarios to be added to the pool.

Well, that's really too bad. If you ignore gurus, they're really just old Indian men yapping, aren't they?

And honestly I think they should have called a Yalta-conference instead.

As for maps that should get added... I still think the 28 other official maps from DoW should be included tout de suite as they say in France.

Seems when it comes to discussing M44 not many players voice their opinion but seems when a Tournament is announced they all come out to join so they are looking at the forums but unfortunately do not care to add to the discussion
