Both games started with the Axis taking a flank.

In the first game, ripted pizzaz crushed his opponent on the right flank then swept left. Airstrikeback's Allies rolled many flags, with limited effectiveness against the IJA's Yamato Damashi spirit. A well-timed Air Power card when two single figure units were adjacent gave ripted a significant boost.

In the second game, Airstrikeback's Axis infantry punched up his left flank rolling over everything in its path. Deftly eliminating all four Allied infantry units starting there and a reserve ripted brought to defend. ripted battled a fighting retreat, keeping the casualty count high, as the Axis swept in and eliminated the Artillery taking the objective medal.

It was a good match.

PS: Full strength IJA engineers are terrifying!

Jocke vs Vlad

A first Round where the Japs of Jocke launch a hard assault on the right flank of the Brits. Dice where raining and hitting !! 3 medals in 2 rounds more or less. Than all seems going again on the Japs side again and again .... Barrage and Air Attack from the brits did nothing to stop and even did no medals !! for the fun the 4 Medals are mainly gain by the brits return fire at 1 figs !! if not was the case, the round would have been 7/0.
When Japs have the card to advance quickly, nothing will help in return

The Second round did not gave me the same chance as Jocke and as soon as 3 medals has been taken by the Brits, they became as japs, looking for the 4th one and launching attack as bersek ( that's the game when you have allready score what your opponent has done on the 1st Round).

I wish Jocke a more interesting and tide game for the next round. Good luck.

We played quickly which made for a furious battle! The whole match lasted about 35 minutes. In game 1 my British defense had just enough to fend off the aggressive Japanese push. In game 2, I had perfect cards and was able to overwhelm the British defense. Thanks for playing Rangor and I hope to see you in more tournaments in the future!
