Hmmm, well that was a bit of a rabbit hole, but apparently there's also a character with the same name in a book from 2011 (Pigeon English) - the book also became a play that went to the Edinburgh fringe festival, so possibly the character was in that too... But anyway, still a very niche context and a name best avoided.

This whole thing reminds me of some guys I used to know who bred dogs. They were actually kinda jerks in general but one thing in particular is that they said "b***h" with the relish of someone who felt like they were getting away with something. Like, every chance they got to refer to a female dog, they would use that word. Over and over.

And, I get it. That is technically the word for a female dog. But it also has other meanings and they seemed like they were uniquely pleased to say it.

100%. Even if the original user had intended it innocently, you have to ban it because you don't want people who wish to use it with bad intentions to have an exemption
