This thread made me wonder if we should make a dedicated thread for posting boards to get settlement placement suggestions or reviewing games in general. I sometimes want to discuss games after it's over to see the other player's reasoning but usually there's no time or people aren't interested.

since you are blue and have really good numbers, I'd take either the clay port with 8 and 5 (a combination that could never happen with classic numbers), but it would be a really good choice also to take 6 5 4 giving you ore and extra wood, so you could reach the brick port some time later. All the other choices don't convince me a lot.

Also, I think the brick harbor is the best choice for variability of numbers. You'll have the highest chances to always draw something, having two 6s could be risky because they could happen or not. I'd pretty much take that harbor and try to exchange and obtain a city as soon as possible, trading bricks with the harbor or other resources with other players that don't have it.

I’d pick the 8-5-brick port since you’d have pretty strong starting spots and a port of your strongest trade good. You can easily build roads/settlements with that and I’d take the first chance to upgrade the current settlement to a city.

I already made my choice, but I had a hard time deciding, so I am curious what other people would choose, and why. If this were your game, what spots would you consider, which one do you think you'd choose over the others, and for what reasons?
I just put the houses in the spot that i think it would be better but whit this game so random its hard because ypu can put in the best number but the dice give you🤬 and its hard to see that everyone its building and you dont have nothing

Have you thought about yellow taking 8 11 wood harbor?
IF yellow manages to block ore for you, do you think it is still winable ?

Blue should’ve won this! They should go on 4,5,6 and kill it. I’d block your wheat and you would have a very tough time

What do you mean by "I’d block your wheat and you would have a very tough time"? Who are you saying would block whose wheat, and how would they do that?
