55 vs -20

it's both my highest score and biggest difference between scores
That's a huge spread. I think I might have been down to maybe -15 against high ELO players that have scored around +46 or so.

If I can remain in the + scores against high ELO players (or the Ultra Hard AI Bot named Uwe on the app) then I'm fairly happy despite losing.

I get thoroughly demolished by Uwe.

I can win here, but Uwe is just too good.

Thank you very much for replying Frank.

That is quite interesting to me to read about your games against Uwe AI. I'm just trying to get a feel I suppose about various skill levels at the game and 'what it takes' I suppose for myself to become a reliable intermediate player.

I realize everyone is different but I just like to see how I'm progressing over the months and years at particular games. Of course having fun and challenging myself I guess.

I should add though - I really have a difficult time with the interface against Uwe. I cannot see the entire circle of pieces at the same time, and I cannot see Uwe's board while I am seeing my own board.

Hi Frank,

I agree with you about the interface. There does make a big difference with how you can 'look ahead' and scroll through the upcoming pieces on the app. It's much more intuitive on BGA to see the handful of upcoming pieces at a glance. Even though you can see them on the app it's more 'clunky' in my opinion. I suppose optimised for mobile/tablet. It took me a while to get used to playing Patchwork on BGA on mobile phone. But the look-ahead of the patches is much better I believe. I'm not sure about Uwe. I have not played a great deal against Uwe. I can't remember if I faced issues or not.

I have not played in real life but I know the patches are arranged in a circle and the players can glance at them all in one look so to speak.
