game 1: deepnet (axis) vs. vcx1302 (allies): 6-2, 24-16
game 2: deepnet (allies) vs. vcx1302 (axis): 3-6, 16-25

1-1 games, 9-8 medals, deepnet wins by medals.

In game one, daylight came fairly early, making the allied advance across the river a bit more challenging. Combined with some good rolls, I was able to fend off his attack, killing the final unit in the medal city to reduce his medal count from 3 to 2.

Which mattered in the second game! It was a very close game until the very end. I was bound to win it, but his lone infantry unit survived 5 dice over two turns, making it 5-2 medals! it looked like trouble for me, but then my lone infantry unit survived a two-dice attack, and I was able to finally finish off his infantry to get the critical third medal!

Very interesting and challenging games VCX! thank you as always, a pleasure playing with you.

For the final round, it is:

deepnet vs Zivago07

The scenario is 1ST ALAMEIN, scenario ID 10431. You can choose this scenario using the From the Front scenario type and Days of Wonder database for scenario source. A couple notes, 1) Italian units are NOT able to retreat 3 hexes per flag and 2) Anti-tank gun follows late war rules (can move and battle). One match (play both sides) to determine the winner. Please schedule and play as soon as time permits, but no later than August 31st.

Good luck and have fun!

Hi Deepnet
I have a very busy summer :) (work and holidays and work and Olympic games and work and holidays and ...)
I'll be in South Korea since 22/08 so it's better to play after that if you can ...

Let's plan to play in September, as I am away on some vacation as well at the end of August.

Thanks!

I tried the game link you sent, and it's giving me an error screen when I try and enter the scenario ID (same old bug... same old buggy software).

Maybe we can try and set up a time to get our game in this week, but I am away Fri-Tues.
