I must say, i'm also one of the desktop PC users and find the new "improved" home design not an improvement.
The new home screen is too crowded and too messy. Please find some middleground betweed tablet players and desktop players

I am seeing the calendar and the treasure chests, on the day the chest is opened, nothing happens. Are there new games? What is it.

Same. Initially saw the announcement banner but didn't realize the calendar was available because it's not even near the announcement but hidden between the clutter.

This didn't show up on my home page until today and so now I officially missed 3 days. I log in to play every day so this is a huge bummer.

I have redeemed today's chest and nothing happens, not a game, not an award, nothing.
Is It supposed to work like that?

Same. and I was looking forward to the summer games because I missed the 3 first days during the winter games.
