It makes you wonder why people don't want to give identification to sign-up when there is no reason for it?

When you don't have to give ID, then you can create as many accounts as you please and do what you like with them!

Absolutely pointless reporting multi accounts, when it's so easy to delete and create a new account.

Yes, but there is no real life stakes that would require the need for id

Exactly, and the more places who have your ID, the more opportunity there is for it to be compromised. I do not provide my ID anywhere it isn't necessary and I wouldn't be providing it here, because it isn't necessary.

Additionally, I don't know why you think those who break rules regarding multiple accounts wouldn't also include a subset who would have ways of getting around ID presentation. Not to mention the logistics of verifying ID from various different regions around the world (there is no such thing as a global universal ID that proves who you are, short of maybe a birth certificate (even what info is included on that would vary from region to region)? Which seems a little like overkill for a site like this...).

You have the option to report people who are breaking the rules. They are dealt with as well as is possible. If it bothers you so much, perhaps you should leave such a poorly managed site.

I think we live in different worlds. Never once have I ever given my ID to be on a website. The website asked me for one that would be a site. I never went to again.

What difference does this make? It is just a site for fun. You taking it too seriously maybe.

Nope. And wasnt asked to. What does that have to do with anything? Certainly nothing at all to do with duplicate accounts. Why are you so angry? Maybe look at how to calm yourself down and find a way to enjoy what there is.

The only impact multiple accounts has is in your own mind. Once you change your mind, it doesn’t have any impact at all.

Or join the fun and do multiple accounts. That is the answer to some dream ELO then go for it. Obviously it’s OK because you see everybody doing it and obviously you see nobody getting in trouble for it. So go for it

You disclosed your bank details to get premium membership

I always have FUN when I'm on here.

ELO doesn't interest me and never has as it proves absolutely nothing.

So every site you go to requires ID, and you've never heard of paying for something online without disclosing banking information?
You might want to contact a local scientist, they'll be fascinated by the fact that you've been able to access the internet from a completely different reality. That might also explain why you think it's easy for users yo have multiple accounts and it must be allowed, while at the same time mentioning that you have had your multi-accounts disabled.

No, I have given my credit card information, to this and other sites. That's what my credit card is for. It's a bit hard to pay for things without giving them some form of payment. And if I didn't want to, then I wouldn't. I consider what they're asking for and whether it's reasonable - if it's reasonable to what I am wanting from them (eg. paying for a service requires a method of payment), I will give it, if not, I won't use the site. If this wanted my ID in order to sign up, I probably wouldn't be using it.

I did not call the site poorly managed, I was pointing out that your comments on this thread (and others) seem to imply you are not happy with how things are being managed. If I thought a site was being managed as poorly as you seem to, I would not use it. They cannot somehow detect rule breakers and prevent them joining (or re-joining) the site in every way possible, so they deal with rule breakages as they happen. You report them. You say they've been dealt with. I get that they come back, but do you expect people who don't break the rules to not continue after a reprimand? Theoretically, if their new accounts are closed multiple times, they'll get tired of it and go away. If you want to be bothered chasing them down, report as many as you want. Or you can just play how you enjoy and forget about users with multiple accounts. Does another user having multiple accounts really impede your playing? If so, report it. But I highly doubt that's happening with every experience you have here.
