Admittedly, this isn't a deck you use in a cycle format.
But you could say it's an engine-building game, since you're looking to build synergies between cards, generally searching for cards that allow you to draw at the beginning, then scoring cards, and other cards that allow the scoring cards to develop their potential, etc...

FS is definitely an engine builder - good players build card-providing engines so that they have to draw less frequently (or not at all). That in fact is usually the focus of the early game.

I agree with haiduk and miswsecond that 2nd is preferable, though when you go first and end up turning up a good card, that often puts the other player at 10 cards...so the shoe can be on the other foot. Still, I prefer 2nd to 1st. (and I'm also an Expert like those two, though not as highly rated)
