I duck can’t get my tucks

In this game I spent most of the time behind in points however feel like my issue might have been mid game choices. I often find I have no resources (cards or food to play):

You got 3 of the most op cards for arena there.

You should have draw Phoepe from the tray as well on round 2.

Than it is already a win with 2 food cards in the egg production.

Spotted Towee is the best card for this kind of gameplay with american crow.

Bushtit in wetland and than draw something that you can play with weed and worms.


Or if you put it in the forrest and you draw bushtit succesfully you have to keep more cards from your starting hand even though they suck.

Cause you have food production going. You cannot keep only 1 card there. It is also risky if you wouldnt get bushtit you would be screwed even more.

Okay thank you, I guess I never keep more than 3 cards and usually only 2 so I can have the food available. Are you saying keep bad cards and then use them to discards from the feeder? Or is play them?

I think he means : in the case you play Spotted Towee in forest, and play the Bushtit in Wetland, like you did, you have to keep more cards from the start to be able to draw other cards while feeding the bushtit (with the bad cards you kept from the start). Please JohannesTheGreatest tell me if i'm wrong ^^
