Did you actually play this game, because this game does not appear in your games played list?

It is strange that these changes were not announced, but I am very glad that they did, now there will be no cases when a player started searching arena game and forgot about it, as a result of which he had to be kicked from the game.

sometimes they hide the player names, i assume that is the intended approach.
most of the time you can see the opponent though, which is a complete joke. that's the end of any competitive arena game, where top players will be dodged many times.

That's a confirmation of one of the two major changes they made. And I think it's the one that's less of a "rule" change than "you can't know who your opponents are until all players accept and the game starts". Which again, was implemented two days after BGA declared that there wouldn't be any rule changes for this season.

There's no way that the coding for this change wasn't complete when the new season started. It may have been still in testing. But to directly contradict a formal announcement, with no notice to the users, is really poor on BGA's part.

Names may appear, but they are not the names that will appear on the actual table.

I want to be matched against high rated players.

I want to be able to avoid the games against lower rated players. Little to gain, much to lose.
