What is the played game?

Maybe it was a game against a player with a username such as "Cheat-Bot-HAL9000", and being a nefarious cheat-bot, it hid its presence from searches.

the game is obviously still in progress given they asked how to get out of it. so you wouldn't find it in their history.

Dungeon Petz. The OP said they were trying to get out of the game, so it should be an ongoing game or a recently finished one if they completed it between the time they made the thread and the time you checked. Starting with the 9 ongoing games leads to quickly finding it.
